He has a very easy to read and intuitive writing style. I highly recommend this book for advanced undergraduates, 1st and 2nd year graduate students and professionals looking for a good review of the fundamentals of digital communications. I have designed many digital communications systems over the course of my career and I can tell you that without the fundamentals I learned from Dr. Madhow, I would have never been able to be an effective communication system designer.
