(More customer reviews)This book covers a great deal of ground, which often means a superficial treatment, but Clint Smith has taken a highly practical approach to his subject, concentrating on the how rather than the why of cellular design.
Apart from the technical treatment of design for the three major celluar technologies, AMPS, GSM and CDMA, the book offers excellent practical advice on site and antenna selection and some nuts-and-bolts aspects not found in more formal texts, such as developing checklists, dealing with local authorities, and the post-planning activities of acceptance testing, activation and drive testing.
A sound and useful book for anybody condidering a move into almost any aspect of celluar planning.
