(More customer reviews)Excellent book. Several chapters will build upon the same sample application and will explain each new piece of code. When later chapters don't fit the current sample application, it will start with a new sample application. One doesn't need to "follow along from chapter to chapter" as each chapter introduces new ideas and also has ability to download the code. I for one didn't code up any of the samples but simply followed along the explanations and applied the concepts and methods to my own application. It would have been nice if it went into depth on database handling and patterns as that seems to be troublesome for me if you don't follow the exact pattern as described. Other than that, great book to get you up and running quickly.
