(More customer reviews)This book was one of the earliest books on LTE, the new cellular wireless standard that is expected to be commonplace in the next few years. This book is very good for people interested in learning about LTE from a systems architecture standpoint. It covers the EPS and SAE aspects of the system. It explains about the evolved packet core which is integral to the LTE system and also the newer and simpler network elements that constitute the overall LTE eco-system. For those interested in obtaining a deeper understanding of the protocol changes and such, I would recommend the following book by Erik Dahlman titled 3G Evolution, Second Edition: HSPA and LTE for Mobile Broadband.
