For instance, the equations in Section 7.3.1 (Loop Detector) are not consistent with the diagram of the system on which they are based: Figure 7.9 (the AGC Loop). One glaring problem is that a signal sample v(n) enters a delay z^-1 and comes out as a future sample v(n+1). This does not inspire confidence. Furthermore, trying to correct an author's errors while trying to learn the material is unwanted, extra and misapplied effort.
