(More customer reviews)I have used Todd Lammle's books for several certification exams and I can attest to this book as another notch in that process. I passed my CCENT exam today with a 925 and I could not have done it without this book.
The other book that I used was Ciscos CCENT/CCNA ICND1 book written by Wendell Odem. This book and the free CD that comes with it closely resemble what the exam entails.
With that said, why buy Todd Lammle's book? Easy. Todd explains the Cisco concepts, theory, in understandable terms that you walk away with knowledge and not scratching you head saying, huh?
Now that I have taken a Cisco exam I know what to look for. I have both Todd Lammle's CCNA book and the Cisco CCENT\CCNA ICND2 for the second part of the certification exam.
Transcender was a waste of money in preparing for this exam. The free CD that comes with the Cisco Book has the Boson testing format and it was very helpful in taking the exam.
