(More customer reviews)This book is a summary of the author's MS thesis. I bought it to learn the networking aspects of tinyOS. This paperback is ~80 pages long and less than half of those have anything to do with Networking (the rest are on sensors). I went through the book in an evening and perhaps learned 4-5 pages worth of new information (and I am relatively new to networking and tinyOS).
The new concept introduced is something referred to as Reverse Path Routing - a way of getting from the base station to individual nodes. I was not convinced that the algorithm is stable or usable in a real world deployment.
