This book by Rob Tiffany is an excelent example of 'How To Get Things Done'. With easy reading text a whole system is configured from scratch without too much fuss on 'why' and 'what'. System integrity, security and performace are major points of concern in his book.
In no time you have a system up and running and this book gives enouch information to extend it on your own once you have a working system.
This is a book for the practical minded engineer, for use in a project that has a deadline to keep, for testing the feasability of some idea. It gets you started in a minimum of time.
It is clearly not a book discussing all kind of possiblities of a product or technique. It is also not a book for a starting engineer, some knowledge about systems and databases is a must.
Books like this are helpfull in delivering what the customer ask in time. More books like this needs to be written.
